The OCO Program truly changed our lives. Before finding OCO, our family was homeless and living from hotel to hotel. We had the financial means to pay for housing, but because of our circumstances and difficulty getting approved, finding a stable place to live felt impossible. This group believed in us when it seemed like no one else would. She not only helped us navigate the process but also assisted us in finding a home that would be the right fit for our family. Thanks to her dedication and the support of the OCO Program, we were able to move into what we lovingly call our “forever home.” The OCO Program helped with our down payment, assisted in furnishing our home, and even made sure our family had food when we needed it. They continued to stay in touch and connected us with resources, including support during the Christmas season. Because of this opportunity, our lives were completely transformed. Our children now have stability, security, and a place where they can thrive. Instead of worrying about where we would sleep next, we can focus on building memories, pursuing our goals, and creating a brighter future for our family. We will never forget the compassion, kindness, and support the Board of the OCO Program showed us during one of the most challenging times in our lives. They didn’t just help us find housing they helped restore hope and gave our family a fresh start. We are forever grateful.
